Country Faces Cancer
Country Faces Cancer (CFC) is an industry-wide effort led by Great
American Country’s Nan Kelley, a proud lymphoma survivor, to
help raise awareness and support for The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society (LLS) through its Light The Night Walk. Light The Night is an
evening walk when friends, families and co-workers come together
to commemorate and celebrate lives touched by blood cancer.
Participants carry illuminated balloons, red for supporters, white for
cancer survivors and gold balloons represent those we have lost. It is a
truly memorable experience. Anyone can take part - children, adults and
seniors are all welcome. This is a casual fundraising walk with no fitness
requirements. Funds raised through Light The Night Walk support:
• Lifesaving blood cancer research
• Financial assistance to cover patient expenses for transportation,
medication and testing
• Free educational materials and events for patients and their families
• Local programs such as Family Support Groups and First Connection,
a peer-to-peer counseling program
• Comprehensive, personalized assistance through our Information
Resource Center.
By empowering country music fans across North America to partner
with their favorite country artist we will make a difference in the lives of
thousands of patients and their families.
